Dr. Kuhns has recently retired as an Emeritus Professor in the Wildland Resources Department at the Utah State University in Logan. We recently had a tree planted in Sugar House Park in honor of Dr. Kuhns recognizing his contributions to Forestry in Utah and we are going to have a bench with a plaque installed near that tree.
Dr. Kuhns is a valuable resource of knowledge on trees in the state of Utah. He has been an expert in his field for many years and has contributed greatly to the understanding and care of trees in the state. He has been a dedicated and passionate advocate for the preservation and protection of trees, and his work has benefited many individuals and organizations.
