Rio Tinto wanted to showcase how different community organizations promoted sustainable development. They invited us to create a short video to showcase how our organization, using the grant received by Kennecott, helped create a more sustainable environment.

Not only is our organization and project featured in Rio Tinto's 2011 Sustainable Development Report, but they are asking the community to vote for their favorite video. The video with the most votes will receive an additional $5,000 towards the project originally funded.

Our grant from Kenecott was to provide tree coupons to schools participating in the Arbor Day poster contest. These schools then planted a tree and celebrated Arbor Day with students, staff, etc.
